Alert System ALADIN allows remote system state surveillance via e-mail or SMS messages. In critical situations your application calls the ALADIN service using an easy command line interface. The ALADIN service posts the appropriate message to the staff currently on duty. Via the ALADIN's user inteface you edit duty staff profiles and add the available profiles to the duty plan table. Also an escalation behaviour is implemented which is determined by a persons position in the duty plan and the priority of the posted alarm.
